Most charter sites in this harbor show you a brochure. We keep a fleet book. Every phinisi, yacht and speedboat listed below has a profile page recording what our curators found on deck: cabin condition, crew standard, safety fit-out, and the rate the boat actually charters for. Where a figure has not yet been verified on board, the card says price on request rather than a guessed number — that honesty is the whole point of a curated directory.
The fleet is organized into six classes. Use the filter chips to narrow the grid, or read straight through: the classes run from the flagship luxury phinisi down to the day-run speedboats, and each section opens with what that class actually buys you. How this fleet directory is graded
Our fleet team, led by curator Kristoforus Jehamat, boards vessels at the harbor and during crossings, and re-checks them through the season. Each profile records four things: hull and maintenance, cabin standard, crew and galley, and safety equipment. Capacity and cabin counts come from the deck plan we sighted, not from marketing copy. Rates shown are whole-boat charter prices unless marked per person, shared — shared departures sell by the cabin on fixed schedules, usually Fridays. A handful of high-demand vessels are still on our verification list; their cards carry no numbers yet, and we will quote them live over WhatsApp instead. Luxury phinisi: the flagship tier
A luxury phinisi in Komodo means a wooden two-masted hull finished to hotel standard: ensuite cabins, a galley crew that plates real dinners, and decks built for the hours between islands. These are the boats we recommend for honeymoons and multi-family charters. Most run private, whole-boat rates; several also sell cabins on scheduled shared departures, which we mark on each page.

Standard phinisi: budget hulls, same anchorages
Standard phinisi are the working backbone of the harbor: simpler cabins, shared or ensuite bathrooms, and the lowest whole-boat and open-trip rates in the fleet. A budget phinisi in Komodo still anchors in the same bays as the flagships — you trade finish, not scenery. We grade these hulls on maintenance and crew first, because at this tier those two things decide the trip.
