Cabins and life aboard
Each of the five doubles carries its own hot-water bathroom and air conditioning, and because no cabin outranks another, the booking conversation stays refreshingly short. The Buton names — Wakatobi, Wolio, Nirwana, Bonelalo, Kadatua — honor the island homeland of the phinisi-building tradition her carpenters come from. Above deck, the jacuzzi and mini bar anchor the stern, a recreation room covers the hottest hours, and dining runs both indoors and out. The tender is a proper speedboat rather than a rubber dinghy, which shortens every transfer, and her 1.5-tonne fuel and 6-tonne water stores keep a long weekend entirely self-sufficient.

Five equal cabins solves the quietest problem in group chartering: nobody draws the short straw. That is why I put Barakati in front of five-couple groups before anything else at this price. Two tradeoffs to weigh: the ten-guest cap pushes per-person cost above the bigger deluxe hulls when you split the boat, and at six to eight knots she cruises rather than sprints — build your route around fewer, longer anchorages and she rewards you for it.

The shared 3D2N departure is per person, by cabin: Kadatua from USD 419.01, Nirwana and Bonelalo from USD 489.43, Wakatobi and Wolio from USD 503.52.
